The Challenge
We didn’t have time to teach someone the car business. We needed a designer who already knew what a dealership ad should look like

Creative Director
Automotive Advertising Agency
Automotive advertising runs on deadlines. Monthly specials, new inventory, manufacturer incentives, and sales events all need new ads, website banners, and email graphics, often for several dealerships at once and always before the promotion window closes.
For a lean agency with fewer than 10 people, that volume put real pressure on the team. Without a dedicated designer, account leads and senior staff were producing creative themselves, which took time away from strategy, media management, and client relationships.
The agency needed a full-time graphic designer with automotive experience, someone who already understood how dealership ads work, from vehicle imagery and pricing callouts to brand guidelines and fast turnarounds. Designers with that specific background are hard to find locally, and hiring one in South Florida meant competing with larger agencies on salary.
The Approach
The agency found Wow Remote Teams through an online search and shared a focused brief: a full-time graphic designer with proven experience in automotive dealership creative, including car ads, website imagery, and email graphics.
Wow presented a short list of screened designers with automotive portfolios, and the Creative Director interviewed them directly. Within about 2 to 3 weeks, the agency had its hire.
At the center of this story is a graphic designer from Colombia with 4 years of design experience and a background in automotive advertising. She works in professional English and uses the same layout, photo-editing, email, and spreadsheet tools as the rest of the team.
Working full-time, she owns dealership ad creative across channels: vehicle and specials ads, website banners and imagery, and email graphics, turning inventory and pricing details into on-brand creative for each dealership.
With Colombia on Eastern Time for most of the year, she shares more than seven hours of the Florida team’s workday. She reports directly to the Creative Director, who sets priorities and reviews work as campaigns move forward.
I adapted well to the workflow, and communication with my manager has always been clear

The Outcome
We’re very happy to have her on the team. She’s doing a great job, and she’s become a real part of how we deliver for our dealers

One year later, the designer is a stable and trusted part of the team.
Dealership creative now has a dedicated owner. Account leads and senior staff no longer have to stop and design ads themselves, and promotions get the creative they need on time.
Integration was smooth from the start. Three months in, the designer said she had adapted well to the agency’s workflow and that communication with her manager had always been clear. At the same check-in, the Creative Director told Wow she was very happy to have her on the team and that she was doing a great job.
The designer also showed the kind of mindset that keeps a partnership growing: she asked for performance feedback early, wanting to know what she could improve. That habit has helped her take on more of the agency’s creative work with confidence over the year.
