Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be fluent in English?
Almost always, yes. Most U.S. clients require at least strong professional English (typically CEFR C1) . Wow Remote Teams may ask you to take a short English assessment. Being bilingual (Spanish/English) is a big advantage – it opens more opportunities.
How will I get paid?
You’ll be paid in U.S. dollars on a regular schedule. Wow Remote Teams handles all payroll and tax compliance as your employer-of-record , so you receive a clean USD salary each month. You don’t need to worry about foreign exchange or paperwork.
What work hours will I have?
Hours depend on the client’s time zone (typically U.S. time zones). Many clients expect significant overlap with U.S. Eastern or Pacific time. We try to match you to roles that fit your schedule. Working remotely means more flexibility than an office job, but you should still expect a standard full-time schedule (often 8 hours/day).
Is Wow Remote Teams a US company? Do I need a visa?
No, you do not need to relocate or have a U.S. visa. All work is remote from your home in LATAM. Wow Remote Teams acts as the intermediary employer, so no immigration paperwork is needed.
What roles are available?
We recruit for many professional roles. Check our categories above or click Explore Our Job Openings. (We have openings in Marketing, Design, Dev, Admin, Finance, etc.) We update the list frequently as we find new clients.
Is there any cost to apply?
Absolutely not. Our services are free for candidates. We connect you with employers and handle paperwork at no charge to you. You only get paid – we never ask you to pay fees.
